From determination to distinction:
my journey in secretarial excellence

My passion for secretarial work, started at a young age where I followed in the footsteps of my mother.  After leaving school, I enrolled in secretarial college, where my teacher wrote, “Clare can’t seem to master some of the skills needed to be a good secretary”.  Disillusioned by what I had read gave me the determination to prove my teacher wrong and I left college with top marks, 110 wpm shorthand and distinctions in my typing, secretarial skills and business studies!  Contrary to what my teacher had said and an achievement that I’m proud of, I was awarded “Secretary of the Year” in 1986 for the East Midlands area of the UK.

I now have over 20 years of experience as an executive assistant and more than 7 years as a digital online marketer, I’ve had the privilege of serving clients across a diverse range of industries. From banks and accountants to pharmaceuticals, hospitals, retail companies, and beyond, I’ve honed my skills and expertise to meet the unique needs of each client.

In 2015, fueled by a passion for helping businesses thrive, I took the leap and established my own business, working from the comfort of my home office. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to providing top-notch admin and marketing services to clients, helping them streamline their operations, boosting their online presence, and achieving their business goals.
